This little guy has been handled frequently by adults and children (youngest child is age 2!).

My "laying flock" ended up with 4 roosters and 1 hen and he is too small (and pretty) for my stew-pot. I'd like to find him a home before Christmas so I can avoid hiring a chicken sitter. His coop mate a mixed bantam hen already has a new owner who is waiting to take her until he finds a home too! I am available during the day or in the evening for pick up, if you are close in the area I'd consider meeting up for a "hand-off".

Thanks for taking a look.

Yes, and he can go whenever you are ready. His roommate the hen already has a home that she can go to as soon as he finds a home. He is a freebie. We ended up with 4 roosters and one hen so we are starting fresh in the Spring. Let me know if you would like to have him and I will send you my address or we can meet up somewhere for a hand-off. I think you'll like him, he is very use to being handled, my 2 year old picks him up and carries him around!
