This little guy has been handled frequently by adults and children (youngest child is age 2!).
My "laying flock" ended up with 4 roosters and 1 hen and he is too small (and pretty) for my stew-pot. I'd like to find him a home before Christmas so I can avoid hiring a chicken sitter. His coop mate a mixed bantam hen already has a new owner who is waiting to take her until he finds a home too! I am available during the day or in the evening for pick up, if you are close in the area I'd consider meeting up for a "hand-off".
