18-19 wk old CCLB with a dry sneeze, sleepy, sometimes shakes head

YOu can also do the Tylan injectable as an oral. I just wouldn't mix both in her drinking water. If you even suspect cocci, treat your whole flock with the Corid
I never would have suspected it. They were on medicated feed for a long time and everyone has normal stools (aside from her). They get fresh water daily and I wash out the waterer weekly. But, this specific one does like to find any mud puddle or water on the ground and drink it. So who knows. I will see if I can get a sample from her and look at work under the scope for it. But the sneeze and head shake makes me think it may be something else. But I really have no idea.

Feel around her whole chest to see if she has any air under her skin. Even the left side of her looks puffy, but it may just be her feathers. I am wondering about a possible leaking air sac. Let us know how she feels , and especially how her crop feels in the morning.

She looks so sleepy like a chicken with coccidiosis looks. Has she had any runny poops? If she were mine I would give some more NutriDrench, then start her on Corid for possible coccidiosis. Dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid Corid or 1.5 tsp of the powder in a gallon of water for 5 days. No vitamins after starting Corid, then give them for a few days.
Crop was empty this am. I don't feel any air anywhere. She is not eating today. Gave the nutri drench again and gave tylan IM just now. Going to start the corid tonight but she isn't drinking as much as she was.

Just an update. This chicken eventually went to sleep and would not wake up. It was culled. But then another chicken started the same symptoms. So I gave in and made a vet appt. Bloodwork showed a high WBC. Doesn't fit mareks but the vet thinks something along that line. Started her on new abs today and will give her a day to see if she recovers. If not they want me to take her to MSU for necropsy. Either is not a good outcome. There is a 3rd that is doing the head shaking but no other symptoms yet.

Thanks for the update. Keep us informed.
Took her for necropsy today at MSU. Heard from the vet this afternoon. The gross necropsy didn't show him anything that would make him think it was not mareks. He is highly suspicious that it is. Have to wait for histopathology report. I just never would have thought that as the symptoms didn't match anything I had previously read. Hoping my other 3 make it through this but not sure now.
