I wouldn't say ripped off, but not a great price... Tractor Supply is usually a little cheaper. I have some local growers around me advertise their seeds for 15.00. Maybe you could put a "wanted" on craigslist....

It's been about $14 for a 40lb bag at TSC. If you keep an eye out for them, they do have sales.

I pay about $14.50 for 50 pounds at my local farm coop. There's actually another thread from this week on this exact same thing.....the prices seem to vary depending where you are.

That's a good price if not on sale, it equates to $14.85/40lbs. which is lower than 14.99 that my TSC is when not on sale. Most places sell 50 lb bags for $19.99 around here.
