These little birds are eye candy. Im too much into the egg layers, we just eat way too many eggs , but I sure do enjoy seeing them. Wonderful little birds and the hen in your hand is a dream chicken. Who wouldnt want her in their flock.

What are the roos like? do they crow a lot?

They chat a lot. ..constantly talking back and fourth and to me when I feed. They have several different kinds of calls and I can recognize the had an egg call, the bird just flew over the coop and Im surprised but not really scared call, and the OMG Hawk! call, the wierd neighbor call, etc

They don't crow any more than my other birds but it is different sounding. I've heard people say it sounds like some sort of jungle fowl. It is a little higher pitched and has a short duration. Ah-uh-wo.. instead of cock a doodle do

MMMM can you post a video? or one that it sounds like?

They seems pretty small and my serama crow I can handle, it sounds like a large pet parrot not a crow. I wonder if they would be about the same?

How much do they weigh?

I'm really likeing your birds! and have a thing for the tiny pretty ones! yours just scerams quaility, I know nothing about the breed true but I like your birds! and like having ones I think are pretty around and I'm always willing to learn more about a breed.
