Got 18 dozen fresh quail eggs boiled, peeled and washed this mornin.. picklin tomorrow, we have an annual event next weekend I always sell out of quart jars $35 each.. that’ll buy some feed and more jars.. then I’m set to continue rollin along like I used to, I miss the days I used to sell them at the feed store every week.. but I’m still not back to where I used to be pre-tornado.. 45 hens now I used to have 75, next hatch on the 24th-25th next week, I’m creepin back up to my old numbers.. keep on keepin on.

Nice. I was going to say how long do you have to wait for that many eggs but not that long with 45 hens. Right now I only have 6 laying hens and I get 1-6 eggs a day. I’ve got 26 hatching today and tomorrow.

Nice. I was going to say how long do you have to wait for that many eggs but not that long with 45 hens. Right now I only have 6 laying hens and I get 1-6 eggs a day. I’ve got 26 hatching today and tomorrow.

I’m following you on the hatch along.. good luck !! I set 65 on 8/7 trashed 21 clears/quitters last week.. 1 rooster over 7-8 hens is asking a little much in this heat but still, I’m hoping for 35-40 jumbo chicks next week. Fingers crossed.
