18 hole egg cartons--what to do?!

I would honestly just say that not using the ones they save (or using it for your own eggs) if you don’t like the quantity is best. Much more simple than stressing about it.

Buying your own cartons can get expensive, especially when you take into account shipping etc on them if you can't just get them at TSC or something.
With that, the 18's work fine. Leave the center 6 holes empty, if someone says something tell them, I sell by the dozen, these are the cartons I got so here you go!, if you don't like it, then buy 2 and you can pay for 3 dozen eggs, problem solved!! Or tell them, well if you want I can break 6 of them and put half in each hole so they are all filled

FWIW, they also sell 24 egg cartons too, so be glad you are only getting the 18's

also FWIW I also got a girl who like every third egg or so lays an absolute MONSTER of an egg, the thing looks like a goose egg, they really wont fit in the cartons, the lids dont want to close right.
