My chickens are finally starting to lay again and I thought I'd offer some of their eggs up for auction.
Some of the eggs could be purebred, but most will be mixed. I haven't hatched in awhile so I don't have a clue what the chicks will look like. Just about all the eggs I've cracked open have been fertile so I know all my boys have been doing their stuff. I have Light and Coronation Sussex, Buff and Black Orpingtons, and lots of other purebred and mixed chickens in my flock at the moment. None of these guys are separated into breeding pens yet so who knows what you will get. I know my Buff and Black Orpingtons are from Jody Hinkle, the Sussex are from Greenfire and all my other purebred chickens are from good respectable breeders from around the country. Oh, I also have a quad of Seramas and this morning one of the hens layed an egg so they'll be at least 1 Serama egg in the group. They stopped laying when we got a bunch of snow and started up again once I put a light in there with them. I've had great hatch rates with the Seramas and have gotten a bunch of babies from them this past summer.
I will try and get some pictures of my flock tomorrow when I let them out. Thank you for your patience.
