18 week old cockerel

I was wondering if my cockerel will stay as sweet as he is. He is always greeting me when I walk out side. I normally have him a hand full of mealworms though. Is there anyone else out there that has a cockerel as calm and my boy is? I home as he matures he don't get aggressive on me

What breed is he? Some are more docile than others. For example, Wyandotte and RIR cockerels can be a real challenge since they are much more combative than most.

All you can do is keep your fingers crossed that he doesn't go through a personality change when his hormones begin surging in another few weeks.

I have EE pullets they are the sweetest. How many hens per cockerel do you have. My Buff got aggressive but I only have 5 pullets. The recommendation is 8-12 per I think, to help keep cockerel more docile.
