18 week old silkie. Hen or rooster? Please help!

Yes...but i didn't see any streamers in those pictures.

That is a hen 100%. Everything about it is a hen. Roosters dont have even close to that round of a crest. You would see streamers and the comb will be bright mulberry. I dont see any evidence of saddle feathers, and her rump is round and poofy.

Whoever sold her must have had excellent quality hens. Definitely not hatchery quality. Pretty hens are hard to find.

My roosters don't have streamers but I don't have any pure bred silkies is that only a silkie thing or did I misunderstand what you meant?

I'm guessing pullet. Just quizzed the pros about my 16 week old white bearded Silkie and they said rooster, yours has a nice round crest and ball like tail. Mine has more of a Mohawk, streamers on a pointy tail. I'll try and post a photo.

I'd say pullet as well. I've never seen a roo with a poof so round and bouncy !!!
