18 weeks -- Gender?

some heritage breeds don't lay until almost 22 weeks. Could be what you're feeding them too; they will need protein, either vegetable proteins in their crumbles or by way of bugs. The white one definitely looks like a rooster to me

Okay, should I be feeding them layer crumbles? The lady at the feed store said not until they actually start laying because it doesn't have enough protein... I need to buy new food tomorrow and I was thinking layer, is that correct? 18 weeks and I want them to lay!!
