19 weeks suddenly lathergic hen

I have a barred rock who is 19 weeks old and very active. She free ranges usually and is the leader of a flock of 3. She is not yet laying but I am hoping any day now. Yesterday she decided not to leave the coop and just stood in one spot with her eyes closed all day. Her flock left in the morning but soon came back to find her and just layed with her all day. I was thinking maybe she was going to lay her first egg but today she is still experiencing the same symptoms. She stands with her eyes closed mostly, very calm. She makes small cooing noises but usually does when I am near. She does not make a fuss when I touch or handle her. Her abdomen is not hard and her vent looks normal. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

If she is a beginner she may be having some problems. Give the flock some oyster shells, and make sure your girl is drinking and eating.
