I'm glad you liked it. Hope it will come in handy for any of us trying to cook what we grow.

I tried out the Fricassee of Chicken on an old rooster, and it came out all-right. I need more practice to judge the quality against my limited cooking skills. That's the only thing to say about "store-bought" chicken... kinda hard to screw-up the cooking of it.

If there's anything else anyone might like from the Old Cookbooks, just holler.

(I collect them as a hobby, and can sit down and read one like most people read a novel.)
