1st Chukar Hatch - u all helped!

Been lurking here for since I decided to build a bator & hatch eggs. This has helped build patience. Anyway, thanks for all the great info & right on sschedule, my first baby this morning.

Have a homemade bator & a neighbors LG to which I added a fan, & so far eggs pipping in homemade but not LG. The homemade hung in at a constant 99 degrees (digital doesn't read tenths), & LG fluctuated more. Can't figure out photo's from my phone so I'll post the little guy later.

More on they're way - and good thing, this little bird seems lonely & is good at expressing it.

He's dried off now & makes noise every time I visit.
