This morning around 10:15 my incubator was reading 100 degrees and the hygrometer reading was 60%. It is now 2:13 and I got a call from my X-husband about 5 minutes ago-he told me the incubator temperature was 103 degrees - said he didn't know how long it had been that way because he just woke up and went into the bathroom to check it. Last time to turn eggs was this morning and lockdown began. At 103 degrees, does anybody know if those chicks could have survived. They were all viable, and all that was left that you could see with the light was the air pocket on the end when I candled. This is absolutely devastating to me - I am sick at my stomach thinking they perished. Last time I will ever use a Little Giant incubator - I am throwing it away after this hatch (if a miracle occurs and they end up hatching). Opinions, anyone?

It could have been over 2 hours they were at 103 degrees...I am just sick over it - I think I'm going to cry.

I would feel like crying too but being that it wasn't too long I'd say you still have a good chance. Keep checking to make sure it stays at the right temp.

i will be keeping my fingers crossed for you
