Congrats !!! It's beautiful..... wish mine would give me her first pretty blue or green egg !!!!

Any one know if each individual bird lays they same color egg throughout her life, or do they change from blue to green, darken or lighten up ??? Is it effected by food ???

Congrats on your first EE egg! It's pretty!

pulleroo, each pullet will always lay the same color egg (as in green, blue, brown, white) but the tinted eggs can tend to darken or lighten. Usually, lighten.

Congrats! This must be first green egg week, I got my first one on Sunday, and second one today! Aren't they just gorgeous?
