1st Egg!! WOOT WOOT

We got our first egg today...it's beautiful and had a hard shell. The only one that is squatting is one of our EE's...I was hoping for a green or blue one from her...but I guess it really doesn't matter

Is it weird to eat the 1st egg???

How old is she? I have five EE mixes that I am waiting on eggs from -they are 20+ weeks...not exactly sure but know they should be getting ready soon!

Logansmommy7, they will be 20 weeks on Monday...all of our chickens (so far) are bantams. Your girls should be laying any day now

This is one of the most exciting days of chicken farming so far...Hubby just came home with some champagne!!!
