1st egg

I went to feed the girls (&boys) I peaked in the coop and there was an egg in the nesting box!! Pretty exciting!!

Just like a kid trying to sneak peaks at their Christmas gifts before the big day!!
What breeds do you have? Will they all be the same colored eggs?

I got the layers choice from McMurray, I think a couple of leghorns or something like that , a couple of Americana’s, a Red Star, a white crested polish, a speckled Sussex, 2 columbian Wyandotte 2 single comb leghorns, 2 writings, a black star, one looks kind of like an Ancona and can’t remember without going to the coop for them all!! I ordered 15 and got 2 extras (of course) they were roosters. Bought 4 silkies from a friend and 3 of them are roosters!! Go figure!! So I have quite the mixture!! lol
