My Salmon Faverolles had 17 eggs she brooded and 9 are surviving BUT there could have been more and I am angry with myself. Will do much better next time. Worst was this afternoon when I decided to toss remaining 6 eggs(she hasn't sat on them for hours and the last hatch was yesterday early a.m.) SO broke open eggs and all but ONE were empty. The chic didn't have a chance then so son killed it. Was quick but argh...
