A double yolker! That makes sense. I didn't think they could live with yolk left. Thank you! He is doing good this morning but I haven't checked his navel today yet.
 
Wow! So glad OP posted this, it's fascinating, and also glad there are such knowledgeable folks on this site to sort through all this stuff. I am considering hatching, maybe next spring, and all this stuff is so helpful! The more I know in advance, the less panicky I will be when the time comes. Thanks to all. :love
