I put 25 eggs in the incubator. I had 1 clear egg on day 10 and 3 early quitters, then on day 18 I had 2 more that had died. During hatching I had 3 more internally pip and then die (not sure why) and 17 healthy chicks. The eggs were mostly EE/Buff Orp crosses with a few Buff Orps, all from my own girls. I used a converted wine fridge incubator that my DH found me on Craigslist. Is this a good hatch rate? I'm pretty darn happy, I was sure I would mess up and kill them all.
