So I have three chicks that have hatched they are in the brooder. Another six eggs still in the incubator 3 pipping. So exciting!
How long should I expect before they drink or eat? I have chick starter and water with vitamin and electrolytes. Anything else they might need?

Did you dip their little beaks in the water so they know it's there. When you do that they'll run for the water.

They should eat right away if you take the food and sprinkle it on the bottom they'll hear it and they're instincts will start to kick in and they'll eat Tell me how it goes congratulations on the new babies

They can survive for a day or two so it's ok if they don't eat now but like @Kellyjenny said you can dip the beaks into water to show them that it's there.
