Our buff orps turned a year old last month..
we were getting anywhere from 9 to 15 eggs a day for the past few weeks ( we have 23 girls but the most we've had in a day for eggs was 20) but now in the last week we've noticed lots of feathers in the coop on the floor and also we have had days where we only get 3 eggs...last night we got 6.
I have people lined up waiting for our eggs and all of a sudden we hardly have any eggs...
Does this sound like a mini molt possibly?? And how long does it last for so we can start getting our eggs again?
