Our girls are finally starting to reach the egg laying age. We got our first new egg yesterday. As my husband kept saying "it's the cutest little egg". I'm still trying to figure out which girl it was.
But here's a silly question. When hens start laying for the first time, are their eggs true to size of what they should be for their breed or is it because it's new to them and may be smaller to start?
