1st night outside!

my chicks are month and one week old. i out them in the coop tonight. the temps are suppose to get no lower than 58 degrees. will they be ok outside tonight? the seem to be hudled together in front of the door (screen door). i went in there and put them on the roost and they just hoped back off. we might get a thunder storm.

I personally would wait if you are expecting bad weather and they only have a screen door.

The coop is closed in put the bottom portion on the door maybe 2' high in hardware cloth and they seem to just be hanging out at the door in stead on the nest or the roost.
