I just wanted to show off our very first baby ever! Our white Silkie mama sat on her eggs for what seemed like eternity..I was really starting to wonder if there were any babies at all! This little squirt was born today. I think I will name it Genesis. We also have another hatching, you can see the baby through the crack in the egg...it is chirping. How long should I wait before I try to help it out? I've read 24 hours. Thanks!
