1st time buying hatching eggs

Just bought hatching eggs....need as much info as possible! Do I put them in the incubator as soon as I get them? What are all the need to knows?

this link has tons of info https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=48726 are they shipped eggs or did you get them locally? i believe you should let them sit for about 24 hrs esp if they are shipped. i'm sure more experienced folks will have details for you. there is unlimited information on this site. good luck!!!

You need to let them rest small end down in an egg carton for at least 8 hours before you set them

They are being shipped. So small end down for 8 hrs then set in the incubator?
