Do you have any chick grit for them? Those shavings don't look very small, but it can't hurt to give them some chick grit, just in case they eat any.

Where do you live as I raise and breed silkies, and keep striking out on getting a blue rooster.

I have the best luck pawning off roosters in my local Facebook poultry groups, but also on Craigslist. You could also try this forum here, https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/animals-in-need-of-free-re-homing.16182/

Also, you can add your location in your profile easy if you want to.
