This is the first time I have raised Cornish X. At 5 weeks old they are weighing in at approximately 6 – 6.5 lbs. Is this about the right weight for the age? Or should I have the scale calibrated? Next week I plan on processing ½ of them.
Thanks

I just finished processing mine at 7 weeks and eight weeks. The roo's went at 7, they (live weight) weighed 8-9.5 lbs and the hens at 8 weeks weighed 5.5 to 7.75 lbs. Sounds like yours are doing well!

I have the slow white broilers so I think I will have to wait a little longer.

I agree with the previous post can't wait until mine are as big as yours! Yummy!
