1st time mom/ due 18th/ might they be early? / right on time :) pic

What a relief! I only ever felt one puppy and was concerned it would be a big one.

Meet Lily May!

She was 'hatched' just after midnight last night. 12 oz and an uncomplicated delivery. She's black on top and white underneath, 4 white paws, a white tip on her tail and a white stripe.

Dfunny, How are your Cocker-girls doing?

what a cutie! glad there were no complications, and lucky that she only had one! are you going to keep her? (and get mom spayed as soon as possible? lol!)

Mine had her pups this morning. She had 6. 3 boys and 3 girls. Glad yours went well. Mine was no problems either.

Aww! Cute! I'm glad it went well. With one puppy, it could've been a disaster. We had to pull the single from our toy poodle and it died and she was hurtin... we haven't rebred her yet either. Glad yours went soooo well! That's fantastic. Will you keep her (new baby?)?

Hi! I told Darb she was carrying just one big ol' turnip-headed pup (or maybe Darb told me) ...
edit: Previously, the embryo was known as 'the turnip''
We'll keep Lily May .
I was really anxious about the single puppy/ first birth / big sire, small dam thing (I've known for weeks there was just the one).
The vet said (back on Day 45 or so), 'No way you can feel enough to tell, but if you're right that could be potentially bad' --- again disbelieving my report of the actual 'mating date' and disbelieving what I felt.

Big fat raspberry to you!

All is well.
