1st Time Raising Chickens

I have a chicken coop put together and will be putting chain link around it in the next month. Hope to get my 1st chicks in early June. I've never raised chickens before but hope to sustain a flock of about 6 or 7. Worry about having to kill any of them eventually for meat, but look forward to a supply of eggs.
