Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
You don't have to kill any of them for meat if you don't want to. You may have to euthanize one if she gets a terminal disease or is injured beyond hope of recovery.
Did you build your own coop or buy a pre-fab coop? Birds need about 4 sq ft of floor space each in the coop and at least 12 sq ft preferably much more space per bird in the run.
Chain link fencing will not keep out weasels, fishers or raccoon hands.
