1st try with old metal incubator!

I'm at 15 days on some of my eggs!! I candled last night & tossed 3 more eggs. Plus had 1 crack open that stunk!!!

The middle eggs should start hatching next Sunday!! I have 14 left so crossing fingers!!
I'm trying a staggered hatch. Eggs on bottom are Ameraucauna & Cinnamon Queens that went in last Thursday.
Top eggs are Silky & Cochin plus some Easter Eggers that are at 10 days right now.

Praying I get to meet new baby's soon!!

Well the middle eggs are at day 18 today!!! I opened incubator & was serenaded by
PEEP PEEP PEEP!!!!
That was so exciting to hear a baby chick!!! 3 days early but such an amazing sound!!
Wondering if that means 1 will hatch early?

Ok it sounds like a party in my incubator!! Peeps & chirps like crazy!!! I will open up incubator at 1 to check on hatched chick & see if other 2 that pip last night have done anything.

I'm up to 7 in the brooder out of 14 eggs that are due to hatch tomorrow!!!

I ended up with 10 out of 14 for my 1st successful hatch!! 3rd times a charm. Next up are my bantam eggs due Friday! Wish me luck
