1st year broody goose

This is my african gooses first year laying. We incubated and hatched out her 2nd, 3rd and 4th egg. She laid 12 all together. We only cracked open her 1st and 8th. Both were fertile. She started going broody on duck and her eggs in the same nest so I removed the duck eggs and put her 7 ,oldest one being 2 weeks or so, under her and candled them at a week and none were growing. I removed the eggs bc it was getting harder to get her off daily to eat, drink and swim. Question 1: what could of went wrong? Question 2: will she start laying again? TIA

Question 1: what could of went wrong? There are too many possibilities to even speculate. Question 2: will she start laying again? TIA Most likely-yes.(Geese will raise ducklings.)
