2 1/2 y o buff orpington has poop near her vent

She is also not as active as she normally is. She goes to the corner by herself and just sits there. What are some things I should look for?
 
Wipe off the poop with warm water and if you have olive oil or Vaseline put some around the vent. As for what you should look for, lethargy is a big sign and it seems like you’re already seeing that. Any updates from today?
 
We did wipe her vent. Can't seem to get all the poop off, but the area was cleaner. Today when I checked on my chickens she was walking around and eating. Can chickens die from this, and is it anything contagious?

If it’s what I think it is (vent gleet) yes they can die from it if untreated. It is not contagious itself but it can be a symptom of something else (stress, parasites, etc) that can be contagious.
