2/19 Meyer Shipment, USPS tracking stuck at "Pre-Shipment" status

My babies came! I got a call from the post office at 6:20 this morning. Two died during travel but the rest look great - active and eating and drinking.

YAY!! I'm sorry for the two that didn't make it. But those are adorable, sweet babies!

...is it normal for USPS to have inaccurate tracking?

Yes. I get a email of delivery from USPS usually two days after I've already found the package on my front porch.

When Meyer's email that my chicks are on their way I call or stop in at my Post Office and let them know in a day or two the chicks will be at their PO. I also give the PO a telephone number they can reach me at.

Three shipments from Meyers without any deaths. PO did get confused on my first shipment. I went to pick them up and the PO said the Route Carrier had them to delver to my house, wait that was a different chick shipment.

Wonderful! If I recall correctly Meyer will replaced the two that died in shipment. Nice Fluffy Butts!

Yes, if you call Meyer's and tell them you had two DOA chicks, they will refund you or replace them. You don't even have to send pictures to verify, they just take your word for it (unusual these days.)
