I have a broiler chick who's still brething but not responseve to being pict up head is still moveing reast of it is not. could this be markets disease or how ever its pronounced.

No, it's not Marek's. The chick wouldn't be exhibiting symptoms this young.

At this age it's often failure to thrive, a genetic issue, or the chick is very constipated. It sounds like the chick is dying,

Merek's disease can effect chicks as young as 2-3 weeks of age. Most commonly effected is age groups around 12-30 weeks of age.

Pictures, or video of the chick might help?

What have you been feeding this chick?

Feel the crop. See if it's very large and hard.

Does it have access to grit? Do you have coconut oil? Can you chill a few small chunks so it's solid, then slip them into the beak of this chick? Try it. See if it can swallow.

we let are chickens fined there own grit and we feed them chick grower from the mennonite feed mill. I put it in a brooder with some water and it is perking up. still looking for answers.

If it's answers you want, you need to supply a lot more information than we've managed to drag out of you so far.

Location. Is it very hot and humid?

Soil. Is it damp? Have you seen and assesses the available grit for suitability? Angular instead of rounded and smooth.

Do the chicks eat grass? Does it have rigid stems?

What other things to give the chicks to eat besides chick feed?

Water source. Is it well water? Is it filtered and treated? Do the chicks drink out of puddles? What other birds drink where the chicks drink?

Do you have adult chickens? Have any of them died mysteriously?

How many chickens do you have? How many chicks?
