I found this little one laying sideways beside the feeder a could hours ago.

Thought she was dead but still breathing. I have fed her some polyvinyl mixed with a little water and she's been drinking.

She can't seem to get her feet under her.

Tried some watered down feed and she won't touch it.

She is gasping. Once and a while she tries to move andvjust flops all over.

The other 17 all seem fine.

Any suggestions on how to help her.

I have her separated.

Poor chick. I would try to get her drinking water and offer food. If she has been like this for long, she could be dehydrated and low on blood sugar. Sugar water 1 tsp per cupful is good, or electrolytes. Get some human B complex tablets or super b at your Walmart, Walgreens, etc, and start her on 1/4-1/2 tablet daily. Crush it in a small bit of egg, water, or food, or pop it into her beak to swallow. Moisten a little chick feed for her. She might be injured. Has she always walked normally before now? This is too early for something like Mareks to show up, but vitamin deficiency, injury, or a tendon issue might. Consider making her a chick sling. Place food and water in front. Here are some examples:

I'll try sugar water next. (Thank you for the mix amt, I would spend an hour looking it up!)
Well I'm starting to question the whole flock. I got 17 week old chicks and the first day I noticed one walking with its leg out. I think it was a Tendon and did try the chick chair bit she fought her way out. So I have decided to just make accommodations for her. She gets around and gets food and water fine.
Another one has all their neck and back feathers missing. They are starting to grow in.

I dont think they were well cared for before i got them.

They were are all very feisty for week Olds.

When I come in from the barn I will try the sugar water and an egg. Do I need to give her grit with an egg?

I don't have chick grit on hand.

And I will pick up some vitamins. I might just mix the whole waterer for the flock with vit b....

No grit is not needed with an egg or chick feed, but if you have them out on grass or other foods, they would need grit. Let us know how the chick gets along.
Absolutely no interest in egg or mashed up feed. Literally turns her beak away. She will drink but I have to really push it.

She is in the chair and totally fine with it not fighting to get out at all like the last one.

I think there is something wrong with her toe. In the pic to the left inside one, should I try to tape it

Here is a getter puc of her feet sorry. She's still refuing food and only raking water forced.

She did fan her wings out of the cup so I sat her up and she was on her side a bit later.

It's like she doesn't even have legs. She just slowly falls to the side

Does she move her legs or curl her toes around your finger? Poultry Cell or NutriDrench are tonics sold in feed stores and can be given orally a couple of drops twice a day to give a boost of vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, and amino acids.

I had a chick like this, i thought he was paralysed at first, I gave Vit E ( 1 x daily) and nutri drench raw 3x a day plus water. I taped legs with butterfly stitches ( uk sterry strips) and I also cut out cardboard to make boots to uncurl the toes.

This has to be done straight away. Within 3 weeks my chick was walking and toes were absolutely fine.
