One of my 6 chicks is a cookoo marran. I cannot remember which one the guy told me is it? Do they have big fluffy cheeks? I will try and take individual pictures this evening after my kids go to bed. :) I have 2 New Hampshire Reds (straight run), 1 black wyndotte, 1 splash wyndotte, 1 easter egger, and 1 cookoo marran. Here are the pictures I have. I think they are only 1-2 weeks old.

No they do not have puffy cheeks. The black wyandotte and maybe the easter egger can be mistaken for the cuckoo maran.

This is Rosie(She has the puffy cheeks and I think that is the cookoo marran)

This is Chip (I think this is an Easter Egger)

This Shadow ( The one in the middle. I think she is the Splash Wyndotte)

This is Beam (1 of the New Hampshire Reds)

Here they are all together. Couldnt get the other New Hampshire Red alone.

Im not an expert by any means but I would say Rosie is actually the EE and chip is the maran, like I said im no expert, they are precious at any rate :D

Thank you guys! I am enjoying them. Only one has had pasty butt. I love their cheeps and cannot wait for them to get bigger. :)

Anyone else have an idea? I cannot find a picture of the cookoo morran anywhere. Anyone have one they would love to share?

Cuckoo coloring is like barring, in that the chicks have a white or creamy head spot. That first pic is your Cuckoo Marans. The head spot is nice and tight, that bodes well for a female. Males have large, irregular headspots.
