2 baby ducks dies...... question

Hello, i had bought 2 baby ducks from tractor supply and well i've had them for about a month just the other day i went down stairs to feed them and noticed there was no water, now i fed the baby ducks but forgot to give them water, the next day i worked all day and when i came home to check on them and bring them water and food both were dead, the one was laying flat and the other was curled up against the other dead.. i am very upset about what has happened and cant sleep, i feel so guilty and sad knowing this is my fault and i killed to innocent lives... again i'm so hurt by this and just don't understand. i feel maybe they died of dehydration and the one duck died first and the other one cuddled against the other and died as well it was very sad, any advice? upliftings,,

They could of died of dehydration or could of choked to death. They need water in order to eat and can choke without it. Sorry for your loss. It is very important for ducklings to have water 24/7.
