i have a Plymouth rock and mix hen sitting over 13 eggs in one laying box. its like their sharing. one will go and eat and the other will cover them up and then they switch and take turns. but 3/4 of the time their in there together. does this happen allot?

has this happened to anybody else.

yes dit qhas happened to me before,
its so cute when the chicks hatch because the two mums are walking around with this little army of chicks

yeah, but if they have tolerated each other during incubation, they should be just fine
the two hens that sat together were literaly enemies, i had a rhode island white, and a mil fleur mix in the nest,
and since then they are "best friends"
