First lot of Chooks we've had so apologies if I'm missing information.
We started with 4 Pekim Bantams who started laying as normal for about 2 weeks before the eggs stopped.
Their coop is enclosed with a separate internal box for laying.
2 of the Girls are doing what I assume is being broody. For approx the last 2 weeks they've been spending all day in the nesting box, they'll produce around 1 egg each every 2-3 days.
They've also stopped the other 2 Chickens laying, unless they lay an odd one here and there around the garden.
We've been taking them out of their nesting box and locking the coop, but they've taken to spending all day on the ground next to the coop with no sign of change. Occasionally they'll spend some time in the garden pecking around but very rarely.
We don't have a Rooster so no possibility of hatching.
Any help would be appreciated.
