So 2 of my hens are broody and there both in the same nesting box, sharing the eggs ( one is sitting on one half the other is sitting on the other half) is this normal? Once the baby's hatch will one chicken attack the others chicks?

Quite likely the two hens will raise the chicks together. I had that earlier this year. I have two hens, right now, that were sharing one nest; not the best situation in that chicks and eggs may be crushed as the hens compete for them. I made the single nest into two nests, side by side and now each has its own clutch to brood. They switch nests often but that doesn't matter as the eggs should all hatch at the same time. I am very sure that these two will raise their families together as co-parents.
