Broody hen, chicks and eggs

Wow..15 is awesome. I put 12 under my hen. 7 have hatched. So far all looks good. She is in the coop enclosed in a makeshift cage so the flock wont steal the chick food. In a few days the hen will take them off nest to meet the flock. I have done this several times and so far all works out fine. My chicks are part of the flock within days after hatch. Hen does the work while I enjoy the hobby. Please post pics of your flock.
I gave to hens that went broody. I took the eggs and placed chicks that had hatched several days to a week before under each broody.
Put the eggs in the incubator.
I've added chicks under each hen several times since the initial transfer.
the only problem I've seen is the new chicks figuring out they need to get under the hen once she has settled down. They tend to clump up in a corner and get cold.
I just keep an eye on them, and put them back under her when that happens.
They catch on pretty fast.
Hope that helps?

Have not used a incubator yet. Mine are hatched under the broody hen. So many ways to raise chicks. All are a great way. I like pictures of everyones flock.
