It is with an extremely heavy heart that I need to rehome my 2 girls due to a Trans-Atlantic move.
Both are "rescues" or have been rehomed previously so are of unknown age, but MeggHen (speckled Sussex) is probably about 3 years old, and Lady Jane (Welsummer) about 2. If you are looking for regular layers these are not the girls for you, however, if you are able to give a loving home to a fun and friendly pair of chickens (that will lay eggs when conditions are perfect!) they are very sweet pets. I currently live in the Sacramento area of California and will be leaving at the end of January 2021. I would love to keep them until nearer the end as they will be very sorely missed, and I may ask for photo updates!
In addition, for those of you interested in their coop as well, I am selling it (https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/cumberland-cottage-coop-dus200120-dus200120) for $100 with an automatic solar operated door closer included.
