What size openings are in the run? Pics would be helpful. Is the run covered? If so with what?

The whole thing is covered with chicken wire over normal fencing. I would say that the biggest hole would be 2 to 3 inches big.

Unfortunately any mesh larger than 1/2" allows predators like raccoons,minks,foxes and possums to trap your chickens in their coops and runs.Sorry for your loss.

They can stretch and chew chicken wire.

My guess would be a weasel or a coon. If you have a camera put it up because it will keep coming back and then you should be able to know exactly what you're dealing with. Good luck...

The problem is nothing can fit a rooster thru a 2-3" hole and carry it off.

You have to have a hole somewhere unless something ate the whole thing.That would be a fox.
