2 ? Chicks, breed and gender help

So I have these 2 little "girls" here that I was told back when they were we ones that they were production rods. Just trying to get a breed idea and gender of both.

They both look like pullets. As for breed, they kind of look like Rhode Island Reds, but there is something else there. Maybe some kind of cross?

Those both look like pullets, and they could be production reds. They look a lot like mixed breeds though.

It is my understanding that Production Reds are Rhode Island Red x New Hampshire Red. They look very similar to my New Hampshire Reds, mine have the same type of black tipped feathers on the wings and tail feathers.
