I'm getting worried that I should take the 2 Millie chicks that hatched on Sunday out of the incubator because I'm afraid they are hungry. But this morning I noticed 2 more pips, and I still have about 5 more eggs I'm hoping will hatch.

I thought all the eggs would hatch around the same time, but it seems to be taking too long. I'm so worried if I open the incubator I'm going to shrink wrap the pips, but if I don't the Sunday chicks are going to die.

What should I do!? Please help!

They will not die! I use a sryinge ( SP?) with an air hose attached and run it through the holes in the top of the bator to let them get a drink off the end of the tube! Did I type that so that you can understand?
Or you can quickly grab the hatched chicks and use a spray bottle to lightly mist the other eggs so they dont loose moisture!
Good Luck!

You can open the bator In a steam filled bathroom! I do it often and have not lost 1 yet! I crank a small room heater and the HOT shower. When filled with steam turn off the shower and leave the heater on! Then open and remove babies, shells, and add water if needed. Then close up and replace bator in regular spot. When I get out of the bathroom I look like I was IN the shower! LOL

Good Luck and God BLess!

OK I'll try taking them out very quickly tonight using the steamy bathroom method!

Oh God, I'm so nervous and worried!
