Hey fellow chirps, I am on day 11 of incubation *so eggcited* went to check on my eggs and just grabbed one to check the growth, and I'm thinking I see 2 chicks in one egg.

Disclaimer: no photo will post one soon though

The yolk can form the illusion of two chicks at certain points during incubation. Unless your egg is a double yolker, you do not have twin chicks.

Did the egg look something like this? I thought it was a twin chick, but it was only one. Video taken on day twelve.

Be prepared if you do actually have one, they very rarely make it to hatch. If they do however, you'll need to make a safety hole for the other chick come hatch time since the other one will be occupying the air cell. One chick will also be much, much smaller then the other and may be weaker. Good luck! ❤️

Is it still alive?
Yes
