i've tried to hatch double yokers with no success. the closest ive ever gotten was there were two fully formed chicks in the egg that never hatched and were dead in the egg. it was a silike egg so i didnt think they would have made it even that far. i have one of my barnyard mixes that lays HUGE eggs (once there was blood on a really huge one) and shes had triple yolkers before. congrats

We had twins hatch out of one egg recently. They both lived, but were VERY deformed. Each of them had misshapen legs and could barely walk. There was not enough room in the egg for both of them to fully develop. :(
 
I have an egg with possible twins in . It's a bantam egg though. Will it survive. Also my bantam hen was mounted as such by a light Sussex any idea on whether chick will be large or small. Or could that the reason why ithink possible twins. Any info greatly appreciated
