We hatched some D'uccle eggs in the incubator, and one of the chicks I'm very concerned about. He has curled toes on one leg (walking almost on joint to the foot), and when we try and put a bandaid "sandal" on it, he just flops over onto his belly and doesn't do anything, not even try to walk. We have him in the brooder with the others, and they're not picking on him, but I haven't seen him eat or drink anything either. We have tried syringe feeding sugar water and electrolyte water, and it's almost like he doesn't know how to swallow?? We're putting a drop on the side of his beak, and he just inhales it. I don't know what to do, I'm all out of ideas on what to do for this guy to help him survive.

Yeah my husband has become attached to this one, calling him "Floppy" and trying very hard to make it drink sugar water... Like I told my husband if he's unable to eat/drink, then it's better to put him down. But he's trying his best to save him.
